Goodbye to bright coloured hair and say hi to black hair!

Alright, I was cheated by the auntie at the salon actually. Having black hair was not on my mind at all. My choice was dark brown initially so she chose this colour for me saying that it was v nice? I wonder is she blind or what, the colour is so obviously black!! Anyway, I think it's time to give my hair a good rest after all the chemicals damage so I shan't rant so much and just make do with this colour for now.

Picnic at barrage with the couple and their lovable son, lil jaxson on a tues! Bought some snacks and drinks at the supermarket before I made my way down. The weather was purrrfect! Though the sky was rather gloomy and started drizzling about an hour later which caused us to pack and leave earlier. Caught the movie ''Change up'' at cine and had the best massage ever at jb aftermath. :)

Godson lil Jaxson never fails to make my day with all his cute and epic actions.Our source of entertainment at the picnic hahaha.

Finally I did smth healthyyy over the last weekend, after a night of drinking the day before. And I thought I still rmb how to rollerblade but the moment I'd put the blades on, I felt so imbalanced and almost fell several times. Jiaxin was actually holding onto my hands most of the time, so embarrassing! Switched over to cycling instead and I had a good time sweating it all out.

Those nights where you have second thoughts about everything and nothing feels right anymore. Those nights where you begin to qns yourself ''What do I want in life?" Those nights where you feel so upset and you just don't know why. Sigh..

I'm not me anymore, it's fine I'll admit. A lot of unwanted shit got to me.

Shopping with my gfs on friday again~

Chilled with the girls after our shopping and we were reminiscing those days in our sec school. Talking about it never fail to make me laugh like mad cuz we'd created so much nonsense and havoc back then! & those memories are hard to forget.

My all-time-fav ice mocha blended. I only drink this and nth else from Starbucks.

Bought bbq pit and a whole lot of groceries from Mustafa to Yishun dam for bbq! It was really damn random. hahaha. Nice experience though.

Bbq-ed sweet corns, lagsana and sambal golden mushrooms. First time trying all these and srsly the sweet corn taste awesome! I rather spend my weekends simple like this instead of clubs. Doesn't sound like me isn't it? ;)

Wanted to blog only after I've received all the photos from Faith but it seems to be taking way too long, hence I'll just upload whatever I have in my phone. Can't wait to get my hands on the iphone 4s! Blackberry's camera suck big time and I'm so lazy to get my digital cam's batt charged and so explains the lack of photos recently :(

Faith held her 21st birthday at The Regent Hotel few weeks back and I was glad to be one of her invited guest. She's like an angel who always bring sunshine into everybody's life. Her smile and laughter never fails to warm up my heart and she inspires me alot. If I had to sum up out friendship in one word, it would be comfort.♥

Caught the movie ''Johnny English Reborn'' at nex's shaw theatres premiere some time back. The show was effin' hilarious and the ambience just makes everything even better.

Shopping and movie date with girlfs on Friday. When girls get together, it simply means taking much of our own sweet time to doll up (Was supposed to meet in the evening but ended up only after 8pm lol), cam-whore and bitching session. Did I mention how much I enjoy outings with the girls like this? :)

Partying or should I say club-hopping at Titanium, Avatar and Nana. Getting sick of clubs, I want something simple and healthy to fill my next weekends instead.

Partying with my girlies at ttn last friday. Yes, just purely us girls with no guys at all! How awesome and great was that feeling. A tower of beer and 2 bottles of martell was more than enough to get all of us high and gone. One of my dear girl got really wasted and we had a tough time trying to get her to unlock her iphone's passcode as she couldn't even rmb any of her details at all lol.

Headed down to nana for a short while and called it a night. I want more of such gatherings with the girls. ♥

Bumped onto quite afew friends and I was effin' high tt night, all thanks to the waterfall that Sophia&I were supposed to treat Addie for his belated birthday but he dragged both of us to drink with him instead. Oh yes, it was very 'nice' of his bartender friend to make a big cup for us too. Just half the cup and my whole face was burning like mad. I know I'm a superb lousy drinker and I ought to brush up on that :(

Had been occupying myself with sch, family and friends for the past 2 weeks, and slowly I'm adapting to my new life. Yes, I'm all alone now but at least no more dramas and I know no matter what happens, I can always count on my family. Ttn with Wenting babe&friends on Fri.. Went Zouk before that but it was super packed :( In addition, had been catching up with friends I hadn't seen for a long time too, and it feels great.

This world is too much for me to handle. Sometimes I wish I could just dig a hole and hide myself inside.. At least I know I'll be safe and nobody can hurt me..

It's time to move on and start all over again. Throughout these times, i am glad and really thankful to have my family by my side to give me the support and helping hand if not i guess i would have broke down a long time ago. I'm sorry mummy&daddy, to have caused you both so much worries and troubles. I should have heed your advice else i wouldn't land myself in such a terrible state. Soft hearted and stupidity killed me.

For now, though i'm still alive but i can't deny i'm in a shattered state and kid myself that i'm okay when i am a far cry from that.

Congratulations to Wen ling for emerging as the champion for the Cats car-nival contest as well as Miss Subaru Curvaceous, and with 1st runner-up, Jojo lai and 2nd runner-up, Jaslyn! Yeah although i got eliminated, but still, great experience i had with the girls! They were all sooo nice and friendly! Hehe.

She really deserves to win the Curvaceous title. Look at her hour glass figure! Oh my. Envy max. :'(

After joining this competition, i hated my figure even more than before. Standing beside all of them makes me feel nowhere like a lady, but more towards a little girl! Sigh.

Everyday I tell myself that your not longer a big part of me. Sometimes I really believe it, sometimes I actually think that you don't mean a god damn thing to me. Every time that thought appears I feel relieved, I feel less vulnerable, it feels like you can't affect me anymore.

I've repeated this thought so many times that I've almost made it true. At the same time it makes me so freaking scared of moving forward, cause what happens when you stop loving someone? What happens when you someday wake up and realize that this person actually doesn't mean anything to you? How can you manage to go from 1000 to 0. Cause that day will eventually come.

The only thing you have left is the beautiful memories that you hopefully will carry with you your whole life. But I'm so afraid of that day coming, because I don't want it to. I don't want it to happen because I want to love. Love you.

Just so you know, I got through the qualifying round and audition and i'm in the semi-finals for the cats carnival racequeen pageant with 11 other gorgeous ladies! I would like to thank all of you whom had supported me as i managed to garner more than hundred votes in a day just before the deadline. Well, i know competition is rather strong but i'll just give my best shot and enjoy the process and have fun with the girls! :)

Went for the shoot at Subaru showroom on Friday morning! There were make-up artists doing our face and hair and sad to say, most of us were so unpleased with the outcome. We secretly went to touch-up behind their backs. Haha!

First outfit for the shoot. I was the 2nd to take and i think my pose and expression were rather unnatural :/ Anyway we'll be featured on the newspaper from 1st-6th July with 2 girls each day, so do keep a lookout of us! :)

You can't understand why the person you love and supposedly loves you would even think about hurting you in any way. You aren't for sure if you are being abused because you think the abuse is really not that bad.

So when he:

Screams at you
Calls you names
Always asking "WHY"
Chokes you
Criticizes everything you do
Talks over you (loudly)

You can't seem to distinguish the difference on anything, all you know is that your heart hurt's from the sadness you feel inside. You ask, Why is this happening to me? Why don't I stand up for myself? Am I an awful person?

No, you are not an awful person. You shouldn't be treated with abuse. Whether it is VERBAL, Mental or Physical. Abuse is abuse.

The number one thing in my opinion in a Relationship is: RESPECT. I believe this should come first. Respect determines a whole lot in your relationship. If you are not being respected by your spouse. Everything else will not fit in. He can tell you a thousand times he loves you and at the same time degrading you.

You can't change your partner no matter how hard you try. You can't love him enough to make him stop abusing you. Only he can change himself or make the decision to stop being abusive.

The Cycle of Abuse keeps you fearful and off balance both emotionally and psychologically.

Phase 1- Tension Building

Tension increases, breakdown of communication, you become fearful and feel the need to placate him.

Phase 2- Incident

Verbal, Emotional, Physical abuse. Anger, Blaming, Arguing. Threats. Intimidation.

Phase 3- Reconciliation

He apologizes, gives excuses, blames YOU, denies the abuse occurred, or says the abuse wasn't as bad as you claim.

Phase 4- Calm

Incident is "FORGOTTEN" nothing happened

The bottom line is:

-If you are in a relationship and you feel violated;
-If you feel like a prisoner in your own home;
-If you feel like you are at fault for your partners behavior;
-If you feel anxious, terrified, depressed about how you are being treated;
-If you have lost yourself trying to make your partner happy;

You are in an abusive relationship period.

Signs of Abusive Men

•Jealousy and Possessiveness: An abusive man will be overly possessive about his partner to the extent that he would fail to understand the relationship of his wife/girlfriend with her family or friends. An abusive man thinks that his partner is his property and refuses to recognize her as an individual. He may try to isolate his partner and be suspicious about her meeting her male friends or relatives.

•Controlling Behavior: The story of abusive men and the women who love them is all about control. This is one of the most deceptive abusive men signs, as it is always cleverly hidden under the guard of 'concern' for you. An abusive man would want to control your finances, your job choices and even, the decisions regarding which friend you want to go out with. Be careful of such attitude. Initially, it may appear disarming, however, over time this very 'caring' attitude would become stifling.

•Unrealistic Expectations: An abusive man would expect his partner to be the perfect wife, mother or girlfriend. He would expect her to provide for every need of his - financial, emotional or spiritual, and in case, she fails in any of her 'duties' as he sees them, he would criticize her insensitively.

•Superiority: An abusive man is always right. That's what he thinks of himself. He would use this logic to justify any acts of violence that he commits. He would say "You made me angry, that's why I hit you."

•The Blame Game: Did he lose his job? Did he abuse you of late? He would always find a reason for the negative situations in his life. However, the catch is that he himself would never be the cause. An abusive man always blames others for his failure or abusive behavior, to the extent that he would hold you responsible for him reacting violently.

•Erratic Mood Swings: Almost all women, who are victims of abuse by their partners, say that other than the episodes of abuse, their boyfriends or husbands are loving and gentle. In fact, they are apologetic and caring after the abuse has occurred.

•Refuses to Seek Help: An abusive man has an unfailing belief that he is always right. Then, why should he seek help? He would never admit to his mistakes. Instead, he would put the blame upon his partner or his children

Wed night @Club Oceanz&Nana!

It was the opening of club oceanz and we all went down to give our support! I swear the guys were really crazy.. They opened a cannon of martell and another cannon of cordon bleu and managed to drink all finish!! Gosh. I think i only drank 0.2% of both cuz the smell of liquor really makes me wanna puke due to last sat's hangover :/ Ended the night with another 2 bottles at Nana!

It was mommy's birthday on Saturday!! And together with all my cousins and relatives, we celebrated for her at a seafood restaurant near jalan besar! Oh well, i didn't really enjoyed the food though :( Next up was a surprise planted by my sis and we succeeded in luring her to the Kallang indoor stadium and sang her a birthday song before passing the birthday gift to her. It was her fav idol ''Zhou hua jian'' concert tickets! But apparently we didn't get the reaction we wanted cuz my mom had a bad stomachache and needed the loo badly -_-"

I received a lovely surprise from baby last fri and it really got me smiling! I was feeling supa depressed and angsty due to my period and started telling him all the nonsensical stuffs that he doesn't love me as much as before yada yada, thus he gave me a shock of my life by appearing right outside my classroom when i was about to end lesson. Shocked because i was wondering how the hell did he know where my classroom was as i changed class everyday, and he purposely made my heart itchy and didn't want to tell me till when he was sending me home. Humpft!

Met up with my dear girl for shopping and catching-up session at town and back home to meet family for dinner to celebrate dad's birthday. While eating, i received news that one of my friend had been involved in a serious accident and was in critical condition, hence i quickly cabbed down to CGH to pay him a visit. Went to Ocean park instead of Macau due to time constraint.. Explored the underwater lagoon with all its fascinating marine creatures, visited some of Asia's rarest animals like the giant pandas and red pandas, tried the thrilling rides as well as saw the brillant dolphins' performance! HK DAY 3.

Spent 3/4 of the day at disneyland! The feeling was as thou i'd leave the world of today and enter magical worlds of imagination and adventure in which enchanting stories and timeless places literally come to life right before my eyes. Only thing i didn't enjoyed were all the kiddy rides, goddamn boring! Lol

HK DAY 2.

The second day's itinerary was planned for my parents. Searched high and low for a famous dimsum restaurant to have our breakfast and we managed to find it! The dimsum is really hell cheap in hk and taste heavenly too. Oh boy, I am thinking about all the food i had as i'm typing this..Nom nom nom

Next we sat the cable car up to Lantau island to see the world's largest buddha statue. It was a freezing cold day and thankfully there was starubucks coffee to keep us warm.

HK DAY 1.

Took the morning flight and reached hk airport 4 hours later. I was wearing just a pair of shorts, spag top with a jacket and slippers as i was out the whole night the day before hence everyone was giving me a weird look over there cuz the weather was actually kinda cold about 11 degs, and they must be thinking that i'm from another planet by the way i dressed :/ hahaha!

Checked in our hotel and immediately went to have our lunch as we were all famished.

Went for some shopping near our hotel/

Next stop was The Peak to see Madamn Tussuad's exhibition as well as enjoy the scenery of the city way up from the highest mountain. It was freaking cold up outside, even my bro's jacket couldn't kept me warm. Brrrr

Paid about $10 to take photo with Jackie Chan in Madam Tussaud's as we weren't allowed to use our cam to take photo with him. Lol

I had an enjoyable Valentine's day with my dear boy, how about you guys? :)

The thought of having exams on the day just dampened my morning, but bib gave me a small surprise by picking me up with my fav mac breakfast and sent me to sch! Headed to town in the evening after a short nap and bumped into the couple, Jiaen&tpw. Had our dinner tgt in one of the restaurant at Mandarin gallery and singing at katong after that! Simple and well-spent Valentine's I had, and I received the most awesome prezzie from dearest too! Teehee..

I thought this was effin' cute and bib bought it for me! Heh. ^^

Dinner at Lawry's the prime rib. I think they increased the price too drastically. -.- Ordered a main course dish that comes with a soup and guess how much it cost? Freaking $90! But i can't deny that the steak was good, and it was one of the most ex steak i'd tried so far. Lol.

Bib ordered this and it cost the same too but his portion was like much smaller than mine. Oh gawd, how can this ever fill up a guy's tummy. hahaha

Mine! :D It doesn't look very appetizing though.

Total bill was $416 just for the four of us. But we all received smth from the restaurant; a stalk of rose for us ladies and the guys received dining and massage vouchers. :)

Bi passed me a letter when he sent me home and i was smiling to myself when i read it. I swear the letter he wrote was damn sweet and touching! In addition, i'm the first girl in his life that he ever did such thing. Aaaawww~ Sucha sweetheart. Thanks for everything dearest.

Was feeling very lazy to take photos as i had a slight hangover from the night before =x My uncle had booked a room at a ktv club near parklane instead of the usual house-visiting. His bai-nian style is so cool uh. Lol. There were liquors and even buffet specially catered for us! Left early as bib came to pick me up to his friend's house. Was supposedly to have steamboat dinner but the organiser's plan failed thus it was just gambling session and then home sweet home.

Went to my my aunt's place to bai nian and my luck was rather good that day when gambling. I took about $4 out of my wallet and managed to win nearly 50bucks. haha! Bib came to pick me up with jim and soorya for dinner with the rest as it was his friend's treat!

I swear the food was darn good though i think there were only about 5 dishes. There were sharkfin, abalone, crabs etc. Yummylicious! Went back to my aunt's place and bib came to pick me up again to Titanium. Lol. Ended the night at nana which was rather sucky.

This dear boy of mine have been tolerating ALOT of nonsense from me lately. Idk why i've been feeling really emotional/paranoid/sensitive/crazy and flare up at him at the slightest thing. But end of the day, he'll just hug me in his arms tightly and reassure me, telling me how great &special i am and how much i mean to him.. Too many things he've done so that made my heart melt, hence i hope i can really change my temper and be a nice girlf cause baby says my temper is a KILLER and he'd never met a girl like me. Lol!

But it is a different case on tues as i had experienced smth new. :) It was my ''Entrepreneurship'' module exam and we had to set up our booth, decorate it and then wait for the ''potential investors'' (our examiners) to bombard us with qns.

Our company was called ''Cooking mamas'' and we hired housewives from low-income families to provide cooking class to the public. I was mad nervous and my heart couldn't stop pounding. I think i didn't do very well but at least still pass la, and it's the experience that counts. Lol. Big thanks to all my teamates for all the hard work put in. :D

My life is getting so boring! Rahhhhh! Cny is approaching and i realised i don't really anticipate as much unlike the past. I used to have the habit of buying everything new from head to toe; clothes, accessories, bag, and shoes. But this year i can't even be bothered. Weekdays=sch and weekends= work. But at least i still can get to party after work. I'm feeling so old and ageing is scary. :(

Worked for a private d&d event on saturday and i ropped in Sophia to work tgt, thanks zimin for the recommendation. :) I swear all the people there made our job a very fun and relaxing one! Enjoyed myself and it was cash on the spot. Shiokkk max. ^^

This idiot sophia secretly took photos of my china husband when i was talking to him! Humpft. I didn't manage to take photo of her bangala husband though. I find her husband damn cute, shorter than her and has lots of CHEST HAIR! WAHAHAHA!

Boyf had been sending me to sch quite often these days, and he surprised me one morning with mac breakfast and a bouquet of roses. Teehee ♥

And specially cooked steak for me even though his leg was injured and hand-made the pepper sauce himself! Isn't that amazing? Hmm i think the steak was pretty good but the brocolli was too raw!! LOL

Women have the ability to stab each other in the back whenever the moment arises. Is it the shortage of the male species that make some women react this way?
To be envious is one thing, but to be hateful and jealous is just wrong. Trying to be someone you are not is not the solution to life's problems. It really irks me at times to know that some girls are trying to ''get close'' to my boyf when he doesn't even know them or barely knows them. Disgusting.

Anyway, i was working at Titanium on friday night and bumped into the usual groups of friends there! I sort of prefer to work at that club now cause i'll never fail to see familiar faces there! It helps to ease my boredness at the same time while working! :D

This girl here is a chiongster ttm. I ALWAYS see her whenever i'm there, and i think she clubs about 4 times a week? Mad-ness. I'll prolly die of fatigue if i were her. Lol

Super love this bitch of mine! I think she and her boyf were quite tipsy that night cause we kept thrashing each other in games. Had much fun with her. (:
